Below is an (in progress) list of terms that have been used in Werewolf games up until now, along with a typical description of what that term entails.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Comment on Everyone (COE) | All players compile a list of everyone left in the game along with comments on each player. These lists can then be scrutinised. |
| Ed's Law | Named after EdWeatherall, the village creates a shortlist of who can be voted on and everyone in the game must vote from the limited number of names. Idea behind it is to eliminate single voters and generates more analysis. |
| Free for All (FFA) | All players compile a list of their top three suspects. These are then given 3 points to the first name, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the third name. Someone then adds all these up and the top few are then voted from to be lynched. |
| Modkill | When someone is forcibly removed from the game by the person running it (Mod). Done when someone breaks one of the rules. |
| Non-Roled Villager (NRV) | A player aligned with the village that does not have a specific role (power). |
| Original Priest (OP) | A player aligned with the village that was given the Priest role at the start of the game. |
| Power Villager (PV) | A player aligned with the village that has a role (power). |
| Speed-up | Done either in the latter stages of the game or when the lynch target for that turn is so obvious, the players can ask for a speed-up which consists of running two or more turns in a real world day. |
| Trained Priest (TP) | A player that was trained as Priest by the Original Priest. This player could be of any alignment and is usually not trusted anywhere near as much as the Original Priest. |
